Overview

This temporary Business Analyst assignment is with Toyota North America in Plano, Texas, and runs for 9 months. The role supports Accounting and Finance teams with BPC Planning and Consolidation activities, financial reporting, and related process improvements.

Compensation and Benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the bridge between Accounting and Finance users and IT teams for BPC Planning and Consolidation issues, enhancements, and process updates.
  • Investigate and resolve problems across the system, data, and business process layers within BPC Planning and Consolidation.
  • Manage and prioritize issue resolution so it aligns with close, forecasting, and reporting deadlines.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and turn them into practical changes.
  • Keep process and reporting documentation current for BPC Planning and Consolidation.
  • Apply knowledge of how SAP S/4HANA connects with BPC Planning and BPC Consolidation.
  • Assess how system, data, or process changes will affect downstream work.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial close cycles.

Financial Consolidation and Reporting

  • Help maintain and improve BPC Consolidation reporting for audit, management, and ad hoc needs.
  • Check consolidated financial outputs to confirm accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with Accounting to improve reporting structures and hierarchy design.
  • Review consolidated results and support financial analysis sessions.

Business Analysis and Requirements Management

  • Elicit and document business requirements for BPC-related enhancements.
  • Convert business needs into functional specifications.
  • Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing, including financial data validation.
  • Help ensure alignment between Accounting and IT stakeholders.

SAP Group Reporting Transition Support

  • Assist in the move from BPC Consolidation to SAP Group Reporting.
  • Document current-state workflows, data models, and reporting structures.
  • Take part in testing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Provide BPC subject-matter input during design and gap analysis discussions.

Data Integrity and Controls

  • Support reconciliations between BPC, SAP S/4HANA, and connected systems.
  • Help maintain consistent financial master data and hierarchy structures.
  • Support internal control activities and audit-related requirements.

Experience and Technical Background

  • Hands-on experience with BPC Planning and Consolidation, specifically BPC 11.1 on BW/4HANA.
  • Experience with report creation, input schedules, and application support.
  • Strong understanding of BPC dimensions, hierarchies, and data models.
  • Experience using Data Manager packages for transformation and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to load and manage data, including flat-file integrations.
  • Understanding of driver-based calculations and planning logic.

Additional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Background as a Business Analyst with experience in requirements documentation and process design.
