Role overview
A leading distributor of aircraft parts and spares is seeking a commercially minded and highly connected Business Development Manager to support expansion in China. The role is focused on creating new opportunities, building partnerships, and accelerating growth across the aerospace supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and services space.
Key responsibilities
- Source, pursue, and convert new business opportunities with airlines, MRO providers, OEMs, and industrial customers throughout China.
- Develop trusted client partnerships and carry out market entry and growth plans aligned with regional expansion goals.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to shape customised solutions, oversee important accounts, and contribute to sustainable revenue growth.
Requirements
- Between 5 and 10 years of experience in business development or sales within aerospace, aviation services, or industrial supply chain environments.
- A strong professional network and solid understanding of the aviation and manufacturing landscape in China, together with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, plus strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
