About the role
The Bullpen operates as an outsourced sales partner for fast-growing startups. The team supports technology companies in expanding their pipeline, securing qualified meetings, and reaching the right buying audiences. The work environment is quick-moving, inventive, and focused on measurable outcomes for clients.
This opening is for a proactive and energetic Business Development Representative who enjoys a high-volume activity setting and wants to develop with a rapidly scaling company.
Key responsibilities
- Run frequent outbound calling and outreach each day to connect with decision-makers and create qualified meetings for client accounts.
- Juggle several campaigns at the same time while keeping work structured, consistent, and on track.
- Screen and qualify prospects so they match each client’s target audience, objectives, and purchase criteria.
- Keep CRM notes complete and up to date so follow-ups and sales handovers happen smoothly.
- Partner with colleagues and leaders to sharpen messaging, improve outreach tactics, and exchange market feedback.
Profile
- You are self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently.
- You are comfortable handling a large number of outbound calls every day.
- You can balance several priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- You communicate clearly and build strong interpersonal connections.
- You are driven by targets and performance-based goals.
- You stay organized and pay close attention to detail.
- You have at least 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or outbound prospecting.
- You can work from the office 4 days per week in Vancouver.
Compensation and benefits
- Base pay is paired with commission.
- Expected on-target earnings are between $85,000 and $95,000.
