Role Overview
WSP’s Christchurch office is looking for an experienced Business Support Coordinator to join its National Business Support Team. The position is focused on keeping office operations and project teams running efficiently by delivering responsive, high-quality administrative assistance that supports strong client outcomes.
In this role, you will act as a central point of contact for coordination and everyday support, building reliable working relationships across the business and sharing knowledge that helps the wider team perform in a busy, fast-moving environment.

What You Will Do
- Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to office and project teams.
- Help maintain smooth operations behind the scenes so the wider team can work effectively.
- Build trusted relationships across different parts of the business.
- Support a mix of reactive and proactive tasks as priorities change.
- Contribute to office initiatives and team events.
- Use business systems and digital tools to assist with workflow and team coordination.
About You
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a related environment or industry, preferably.
- A tertiary qualification and/or relevant training would be an advantage.
- You hold a current, clean New Zealand driver licence.
- You learn new systems quickly and comfortably.
- You are client-focused, creative, and solutions-oriented.
- You work well in a team where priorities and tasks change from day to day.
- You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
- You enjoy supporting others and making work easier for the wider team.
- You are comfortable taking part in office activities and events.
- You are adaptable and can move between reactive and proactive work easily.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Teams.
