Role Overview

This position is for an indirect buyer supporting procurement of materials and services across selected commodity groups for business operations throughout the Americas. The role partners with site leaders and follows global strategic purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare award summaries and purchasing paperwork for suppliers providing maintenance, repair, and operational goods and services, while staying aligned with global compliance requirements.
• Create sourcing lists and track how suppliers perform over time.
• Resolve issues tied to pricing, invoices, and contracts in a timely and assertive manner.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, commercial terms, and annual agreements for goods and services used at operational and remote facilities.
• Review supplier cost data, compare pricing, and benchmark against competitors.
• Handle the purchase requisition pipeline and monitor the vendor invoice queue.
• Keep communication flowing between internal teams, management, and suppliers.

Qualifications

Candidates should have either a bachelor’s degree in business, materials management, finance, or packaging engineering plus 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, materials management, supplier cost analysis, or supply chain management; or 7 years of directly related experience in those areas. The role also calls for discretion when dealing with confidential or sensitive matters.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $68,255 to $110,915 per year. The company offers a competitive salary, bonus opportunity, employee support assistance, and employee discounts.
