C++ Engineer – Airbus Projects

About the Role

Orbital Critical Systems, part of the CAF Group, develops software for highly safety-focused industries such as aerospace, defence, and transport. The company is hiring C++ Engineers to work on-site in Germany on strategic projects connected to Airbus.

The role is based in the Bavaria and Hamburg regions and offers a permanent German employment contract with long-term project involvement.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain C++ software for simulation and test-support systems.
• Enhance framework design for middleware and real-time application environments.
• Use modern tools, methods, and engineering practices in day-to-day development.
• Support virtual engineering activities that combine simulated systems with real hardware.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Practical, hands-on experience working with C++.
• Strong English communication skills at C1 level, which is mandatory.
• German language ability at C1 level is an advantage.
• Citizenship from a European country is required.
