Cashier

Overview

Robin's Donuts is seeking a dedicated Cashier to join their team in Lethbridge, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Languages

English proficiency is required.

Education

A secondary school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

Previous experience as a cashier is an asset but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process various payment methods including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
• Scan items accurately for customer purchases.
• Receive payments for goods and services rendered.
• Engage in suggestive selling to promote additional products.
• Maintain stock levels on shelves and ensure the counter area is clean and tidy.
• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Verify the age of customers when selling age-restricted items such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
