Content Producer (8Days)

Role overview

This position is centred on producing engaging food-focused digital stories and updates for web and social media, with written content as the main emphasis. The role is aimed at building audience engagement through well-developed, timely, and compelling coverage.

What you will do

• Create original digital content that fits the tone and themes of the publication’s brands.
• Write food-related pieces for 8days.sg, including features, reviews, and list-style articles.
• Generate and propose new story ideas on an ongoing basis.
• Enhance stories with visual assets such as photos and videos for channels like TikTok.

What the role calls for

• A confident writing style with a clear and distinct voice.
• Good news judgement and an ability to identify emerging trends.
• Strong interest in local food culture, including hawker food, cafes, and restaurants.
• Curiosity, initiative, and ease in speaking with people.
• The ability to work quickly and deliver under tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Solid teamwork, communication, and organisational abilities.
• Comfort with social media and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Familiarity with video-editing tools such as CapCut would be an advantage.

Qualifications

A diploma or degree in a relevant field is expected, along with 2 to 3 years of related work experience.
