Role overview
Höski is looking for a Creative Strategist to support its ecommerce pod in Ireland. The main objective of this position is to transform campaign performance data into stronger ad concepts, sharper briefs, and a faster testing process for new creative.
This position is focused on helping the team decide what should be tested next, what deserves more spend, what should be paused, and what kind of creative the production team should produce.
Key ownership areas
- Monitor ad results across Meta, Google, Motion/Atria, and reporting dashboards to understand what is working.
- Spot effective hooks, angles, formats, offers, and product messaging.
- Put together weekly creative test plans for ecommerce accounts.
- Prepare clear, actionable briefs for designers, editors, and creators.
- Work with media buyers to review performance, spend levels, scaling possibilities, and signs of creative fatigue.
- Convert performance learnings into fresh creative requests.
- Support Account Managers in explaining creative strategy and outcomes to clients.
What success in this role looks like
- Fresh creative tests are launched every week.
- Briefs are precise, easy to understand, and simple for production to execute.
- Media buyers consistently have strong concepts ready for testing.
- Both successful and unsuccessful angles are tracked and documented.
- Clients clearly understand what is being tested, why it matters, and what has been learned.
- Creative results improve gradually across metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, MER, and conversion rate.
Ideal profile
You are likely a strong match if you have experience with ecommerce and paid social, can interpret performance data, and can translate those insights into creative direction. The role also calls for someone who understands hooks, angles, offers, UGC, product pages, and landing pages, and who can turn that knowledge into effective briefs.
The team is looking for someone who works quickly, does not need constant reminders, values performance over aesthetics alone, and uses AI or other tools to research, speed up work, and increase testing output.
Not the right fit
- You are uncomfortable working with numbers or dashboards.
- You see creative strategy as only generating attractive ideas.
- You need step-by-step direction for every task.
- You provide vague briefs and expect others to fill in the gaps.
- You blame platforms, clients, or designers before understanding the creative issue.
- You become defensive when results are reviewed.
Compensation
Pay begins at USD 3,000 per month, and additional performance-based bonuses may be offered depending on results, output quality, and ownership.
Application questions
Applicants should be prepared to answer the following:
- Describe a situation where ad data guided your next creative decision.
- Which metrics do you review first when ecommerce performance declines?
- How do you identify creative fatigue in an advertisement?
- Share an example of a creative brief you have written, or explain how you structure one.
- Choose one ecommerce brand and suggest three creative angles you would test.
