Role overview

The Customer Service Associate plays a key part in creating a strong customer experience, supporting store sales, and helping maintain excellent store presentation. The role covers customer interaction, handling purchases, keeping the store stocked and tidy, and ensuring that visual standards are followed. Performance is judged by customer satisfaction, sales contribution, and the overall condition of the store.

Customer service and complaint support

• Welcome customers and provide helpful, attentive service based on their needs.
• Handle simple concerns or complaints and pass more complex issues to the appropriate person.

Visual merchandising and store upkeep

• Keep the store arranged according to company visual merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and order on the sales floor so the shopping area feels inviting.

Stock handling and inventory support

• Assist with incoming deliveries and help replenish merchandise on the floor.
• Support stock control so the store remains properly supplied.

Sales assistance

• Suggest suitable products to customers using upselling and cross-selling approaches.
• Stay informed about product details to provide accurate recommendations.

Checkout and cash register duties

• Use the cash register to complete transactions while following company payment procedures.
• Handle cash accurately and keep the checkout area neat and organized.
