Role overview
Nokia’s Mobile Infrastructure / Mobile Networks COO Supply Chain Management team is a large global organization of around 700 people working across approximately 70 countries. The group focuses on delivering strong commercial performance by supporting growth, improving profitability, and protecting cash through reliable supply for the full hardware product range, aligned to market demand and business goals. The team also provides integrated Sales and Operations Planning, including management of supply, excess, and obsolescence risks.
In this role, you will be part of the Market Operations APAC function and will own supply chain design, rollout, and end-to-end operations for the Mobile Networks business. The scope may cover one or several customer teams, with accountability for identifying, planning, and managing supply chain work that supports customer team and business group targets. Your work will directly contribute to supply chain performance, customer growth, profitability, and cash optimization.
You will join the Market Unit Oceania team for Mobile Networks, working close to customers at the front line of network technology deployments. As the supply chain business owner, you will also contribute to customer team financial planning and gain exposure to customer business models, which can strengthen your future career path within Nokia.
What you will do
- Partner with pre-sales teams on supply chain design, supply planning, and logistics costing based on customer needs.
- Lead supply chain planning activities linked to customer team business management, including order intake, revenue execution, hardware demand, and inventory planning.
- Run supply chain operations in line with agreed cost baselines while ensuring delivery plans are accurate and support quality, compliance, and cost targets.
- Build reliable hardware demand plans using customer team input and rollout schedules.
- Evaluate risks and put mitigation actions in place for supply-related issues and challenges.
- Coordinate ordering, delivery, and invoicing for Mobile Networks products across hardware, software, and services, ensuring alignment with planned revenue recognition.
- Manage DOP and last-mile processes.
- Serve as the main contact for supply chain complaints and escalations from the customer team and/or customer, and drive any further follow-up actions.
- Work with supply chains from other business groups on opportunities that involve multiple business groups.
What you should bring
The ideal candidate has a background in supply chain management, along with strong project management capability, a customer-first mindset, and a history of delivering results successfully.
- A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated success in supply chain management.
- Strong planning and organizational ability, with the discipline to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment and handling pressure effectively.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
- Strong business English skills, both written and spoken.
- An independent, self-driven, and proactive working style.
- The ability to balance the overall picture with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and applications.
