Data Analyst

Overview

You will be supporting a respected professional body that creates evidence and analysis across membership, students, teachers, awards, research, and the broader science landscape.

Role

• Work through complex datasets and turn them into information that is easy to understand and use.
• Use Python to manipulate data, perform analysis, and prepare reports.
• Use Microsoft tools and AWS to access, store, and support data workflows.
• Build clear, effective dashboards, visualizations, and written reports.
• Track, maintain, and refresh key performance indicators.
• Review internal datasets covering membership, awards, students, and teachers.

What you will need

• A solid grasp of data concepts and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with data manipulation and reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of Python.
• The ability to create readable and impactful data visualizations.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to varied audiences.
• A careful, practical mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality.
