Role summary

Centra is hiring a full-time Deli Assistant for its Garveys Centra store in Blarney, County Cork. The position focuses on preparing fresh hot and cold deli items to a high standard while putting customer satisfaction first.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders across fresh food counters, including sandwiches, rolls, hot food portions, and sliced meats, while following the store’s portion-control guidelines.
• Cook, assemble, and present food items available throughout the day.
• Keep all fresh food display counters looking excellent and fully maintained at all times.
• Share product knowledge, food suggestions, recipes, and personal recommendations to help customers choose quality food.
• Handle customer questions and queries promptly, professionally, and in accordance with store policy.
• Work in line with the Centra brand values: Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Based.
