Role Summary

This position is for a Design Engineer focused on ball valves. The role involves engineering design work, detailed calculations, 3D modeling, and documentation support for sales and manufacturing use.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop ball valve designs, including engineering calculations and 3D models.
• Check that the product design aligns with ASME requirements and related standards.
• Prepare engineering drawings and create bills of material within the ERP system.
• Produce sales engineering documents such as mounting kit layouts and general assembly drawings.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and have under 3 years of design experience. Strong hands-on knowledge of 3D CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks, is expected, along with the ability to create manufacturing drawings, sales drawings, and work with GD&T. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools is also required. Understanding of instrumentation and pneumatic schematics, as well as manufacturing processes, will be important for this role.
