Role Overview

The DFW General Manager will own both the operational and commercial success of Flytrex’s Dallas-Fort Worth market. This position is responsible for station performance, market expansion, customer adoption, and the development of local teams. It blends operational control, growth strategy, and marketing execution while working closely with global leadership.

The ideal candidate is a true builder: someone who has launched or scaled operations from the ground up, understands on-the-ground challenges, and brings the business sense needed to grow a market rather than simply manage one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day and end-to-end operations across all active drone stations in DFW, with a strong focus on reliability, safety, scalability, and performance standards.
• Set and manage KPIs and SLAs, uphold operating procedures, and introduce automation and process improvements that increase efficiency.
• Drive local commercial growth through customer acquisition, partner development, and expansion into new markets.
• Support strategic partnerships and long-term business development initiatives.
• Help execute local marketing efforts, including community outreach, social media activity, neighborhood engagement, and doorhanger distribution.
• Increase customer reach, adoption, and engagement within local neighborhoods.
• Hire, train, develop, and mentor teams across operations, commercial, and marketing functions.
• Build a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and high performance.
• Work with the real estate deployment team on new drone station setup projects, ensuring a smooth transition from site launch to operating readiness.
• Plan fleet and infrastructure needs across stations to support service availability and future capacity.
• Coordinate closely with CAO, R&D, and Engineering teams on supply, infrastructure, and technical planning.

Requirements

• At least 3–5+ years of leadership experience across multiple sites in mobility, logistics, last-mile delivery, food, grocery, or a similar field.
• Experience managing roughly 5–15 locations and solving operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well with senior leaders and inspire teams.
• Comfort building relationships and working with outside partners and city stakeholders.
• Strong business judgment and a customer-first mindset.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to identify patterns in data and respond appropriately.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and resourceful approach to work.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation, since the role involves significant travel.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
