Director, Enterprise Process Optimization

Role overview

Starbucks is looking for an operations leader to drive company-wide process optimization and transformation. In this role, you will improve end-to-end workflows across Product, Supply Chain, and Store Operations to increase efficiency, lower costs, and create clear business results.

Key accountabilities

• Shape and lead the enterprise process transformation agenda, focusing on the highest-value improvement areas.
• Set up and manage a central delivery mechanism to solve problems, monitor initiative results, and keep execution disciplined and consistent.
• Own value delivery and connect improvements directly to financial performance and lasting outcomes.
• Build alignment with senior leaders, establish governance, and reinforce accountability for priorities and results.
• Use data, operational insight, and continuous improvement methods to support better decisions at scale.

Experience and background

Candidates should bring deep experience in large-scale program leadership, operational management, and cross-functional transformation. The role calls for strong business and process analysis capability, along with a track record of handling complex initiatives across a global, multi-unit, high-growth environment.

Work arrangement

This position is based onsite four days per week.

Additional compensation and leave information

Base pay will be determined using factors such as job-related skills and knowledge, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Starbucks notes that offers are not usually made at the top end of the pay range, and final compensation depends on the specific candidate and role.

Vacation accrual varies by state. In CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND, or RI, vacation accrues up to 120 hours for roles below director and up to 200 hours for director-level roles or above; in California, those caps are 190 hours and 316 hours respectively. In all other states, vacation starts at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for director-level roles and above.
