Role Overview

The Divisional Engineering Manager will be responsible for selecting, designing, and sustaining the most efficient and cost-effective equipment and systems for refrigeration, water treatment, electrical infrastructure, and agricultural machinery. The aim is to support the Farming Division in producing milk at the lowest possible cost while maintaining required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain preventive maintenance systems and inventory controls for engineering operations.
• Roll out planned maintenance schedules across engineering services to minimize production losses caused by equipment failures.
• Review and approve power distribution layouts and service designs for new projects to ensure reliable supply and consistent equipment standards across the division.
• Track and manage spare parts inventory levels within the Farming Division, excluding Parlour items, in line with agreed targets with the GM Farming.
• Support the growth of engineering staff through internal and external training so the team can maintain and repair all required equipment and utility systems effectively.
• Choose, specify, and design equipment and systems that comply with Almarai Health and Safety requirements and recognized international safety standards to maintain a safe workplace.

Requirements

• A qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Completion of the 16th Edition of Electrical Installation Standards.
• At least 5 years of experience maintaining electrical plant and machinery in an industrial setting.
• Practical exposure to industrial generators, refrigeration systems, water treatment equipment, and fixed and mobile plant.
• Ability to work with preventive maintenance planning, stock control, equipment selection, and engineering standards.
