Role Overview

As a Document Controller, you will play an important role in keeping engineering projects organized and moving forward. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, clients, and suppliers to make sure technical documentation is accurate, complete, properly tracked, and delivered on schedule. Key Responsibilities

  • Update logs, registers, and tracking tools related to projects.
  • Track revisions, document status, and distribution information to support project execution and reporting.
  • Attend internal and client meetings when required.
  • Draft and send meeting minutes and related follow-up records.
  • Support communication between project teams, clients, and suppliers on document-related issues.
  • Assist with departmental initiatives, process improvement efforts, and additional administrative or document control tasks as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should bring a related diploma, relevant experience, and strong administrative and communication skills.

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, Office Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in document control, project administration, or a similar position.
  • Experience with document management systems; familiarity with AutoCAD Vault, Aconex, SDx, or SharePoint is an advantage.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong focus on accuracy, detail, and quality.
