About the Company
Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality is a lively portfolio of six international hotels situated at the center of Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The destination combines leisure, comfort, and recreation, offering guests a complete Yas Island experience.
Role Overview
As a Doorman, you will be the first face guests see and the first person they interact with. Your focus will be to deliver polished, guest-oriented service by greeting visitors warmly, opening vehicle doors, coordinating taxi arrangements, giving directions, and sharing useful suggestions on nearby attractions and public transport. You will also help with luggage and contribute to a stay that feels smooth, welcoming, and memorable.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate brings prior hospitality experience, preferably from a concierge-type role. You should be highly guest-focused, proactive, confident, and naturally personable, with a friendly and approachable manner. Strong spoken and written English is essential, and knowledge of another language is a plus. You must be able to handle guest requests and preferences promptly, calmly, and with courtesy. A positive attitude, team spirit, and strong work ethic are important, along with the ability to stay composed under pressure.
