Role Overview
ERG is hiring an entry-level environmental analyst to support public sector clients and programs. This position is suited to someone with 0 to 2 years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, environmental science, environmental policy, or a closely related discipline. The work will center largely on clean transportation and circular economy initiatives, and the role calls for creativity, strong attention to detail, and solid communication skills.
What You Will Do
- Create outreach and communication materials designed for specific audience groups.
- Work with stakeholders through interviews, focus groups, and other meeting formats.
- Help plan events and provide end-to-end support for both virtual and in-person meetings.
- Carry out research, interpret data, draft case studies and reports, and share findings.
- Assist with grant-related work by answering applicant questions, reviewing submissions, completing site visits, and preparing outreach resources.
Qualifications and Skills
- 0 to 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, or a related field.
- Ability to take initiative and work well both independently and in collaborative in-person or remote settings.
- Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent writing ability, including the skill to simplify technical information for non-technical readers.
- Experience creating content for different audiences and channels, including print, web, and social media.
- Comfort with a dynamic, high-paced work environment.
