About the role
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support senior leadership and coordinate key HR and administrative processes for the DACH region in Hamburg. The position sits within an international, multicultural business environment focused on sensory and consumer research, and offers the chance to work closely with a diverse team and contribute to day-to-day operations across management, recruitment, payroll coordination, and employee records.
The organization operates as part of a global testing and research group with a large international footprint and a strong emphasis on innovation, service quality, and career development. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys structure, handles confidential information with care, and can work confidently across different administrative and people-related tasks.
Key responsibilities
You will provide broad administrative and coordination support to the Managing Director for the DACH region, with some occasional support for the CEO. You will also help the International Talent Manager with recruitment coordination, onboarding activities, and maintenance of personnel documentation.
In addition, you will assist the DACH team with HR administration such as contract handling, onboarding and offboarding, and keeping employee records up to date. A further part of the role is ensuring that processes align with relevant rules and basic labor-law requirements for the DACH region. You will also serve as the payroll contact point for the region by preparing and entering data and working with the central payroll team.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate has completed vocational training or holds a university degree. You should have a basic understanding of German administrative procedures and be comfortable working in English, with advanced German language skills.
Strong planning and coordination skills are important, along with the ability to manage time well and stay organized. The role also requires a professional approach, sound judgment, discretion, confidentiality, accuracy, and close attention to detail.
