Role Overview
This position is responsible for overseeing shipping, receiving, and storage activities so that materials and supplies move smoothly through the facility and reach the right internal teams or external customers on time. The role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate, schedule, and keep track of inbound and outbound goods, as well as storage activities, to support a steady and efficient workflow.
- Make sure parts and supplies are placed in the correct areas and distributed to the appropriate departments as needed.
- Organize daily work, guide the team, provide training and motivation, and review performance to support safe and effective operations.
- Confirm that team members can safely use material-handling equipment for moving items in and out of storage areas.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of materials entering or leaving the facility.
- Ensure materials are moved to and from storage in a safe, efficient, and well-controlled manner.
- Spot workplace safety and housekeeping issues and take action to reduce the risk of accidents.
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned, including reporting-related work.
