Role overview
A major sporting body in Dublin is looking for a Facilities Executive to keep its workplace operations running smoothly across office locations. The role supports employees, athletes, and guests by helping maintain a safe, tidy, efficient, and welcoming environment.
Key duties
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for staff and players regarding office facilities across several sites.
- Arrange and oversee maintenance work with external contractors, ensuring services are delivered in a cost-conscious way.
- Keep an eye on building systems and carry out inspections to spot potential risks or areas for improvement.
- Help maintain health and safety standards through proper records, emergency drills, and compliance audits.
- Oversee company car fleet administration, including insurance arrangements and relationships with lease providers.
- Support office layout planning, meeting room preparation, event setup, and coordination with IT teams.
Experience and skills needed
The ideal candidate will already have experience in a comparable facilities-focused role and will understand health and safety obligations and compliance processes well. Success in this position also depends on strong communication, planning, multitasking, and the ability to respond quickly to operational issues.
