Role overview

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Geraldton, Western Australia, with WA Country Health Service (WACHS).

Position profile

The role is responsible for coordinating accommodation arrangements in Geraldton, managing the motor vehicle fleet for WACHS Midwest, and providing technical support for hospital facilities systems such as CCTV, security and nurse call platforms.

Eligibility and appointment conditions

For permanent appointments, applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or hold a visa that allows them to live and work in Australia indefinitely. Staff in roles of trust and responsibility are subject to criminal record screening and integrity checks, and may also need a working with children check and a pre-employment health assessment depending on the role.

Referees may be asked to comment on integrity and previous ethical conduct. Adverse findings will not automatically rule out a candidate, but they will be considered during selection.

This recruitment process requires a satisfactory pre-employment health assessment. Any offer is conditional on meeting the inherent requirements of the position, and an unsatisfactory assessment may lead to the offer being withdrawn.

The selection process may also be used to fill other similar vacancies within the health service for up to twelve months from endorsement of the recruitment decision. If the preferred candidate withdraws or declines, the next most suitable candidate from this process may be chosen.
