Field Service Engineer

Role overview

Landa is hiring a Field Service Engineer to help ensure customers get the best possible experience with its Nanographic Printing presses. The role focuses on delivering strong technical support, building lasting customer relationships, and keeping customer equipment running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Train press operators and share technical know-how so they can fix on-site issues effectively.
• Route more complicated problems to Landa’s global teams to make sure customers receive the right solution quickly.
• Use deep technical understanding of the presses to improve output, uptime, and overall productivity.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of product-support experience in the graphic arts sector, especially with digital printers or offset presses.
• Experience with inkjet systems is considered an added advantage.
• Strong technical ability from start to finish, along with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• A valid driving licence is required.

Additional attributes

• Comfortable with flexible working hours and willing to spend 60% to 70% of the time travelling to customer locations, including overnight trips.
• Able to work independently with remote supervision and stay effective under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with international customers and teams.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset that follows established technical policies and procedures.
• Quick learner with a strong drive to keep expanding knowledge of systems, technologies, and products.
• Self-driven and adaptable in a fast-moving work environment.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
