Role Overview
The Keyholder role supports the smooth running of the store while creating excellent customer experiences. This position helps recommend suitable products and services, contributes to store profitability, and supports day-to-day operations. The role also includes representing the store in the local community and helping to uphold the company’s core beliefs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cashiering and customer sales activities.
- Prepare merchandise orders, complete banking tasks, and handle other routine paperwork.
- Place small stock items, such as pet supplies and household goods, onto the sales floor.
- Carry out general store upkeep, including sweeping and dusting.
- Help unload delivery vehicles and stock cases and bags of pet food and other supplies, including items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Open and close the store according to company processes.
- When the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable, set daily priorities and assign tasks to ACEs.
- Take on additional duties as needed.

Experience and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
- Working familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service abilities.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work varied shifts based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to and from the store.
- A valid driver’s license may be necessary.
