About the Role
OZ Design is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its marketing team in Sydney. The business is a family-owned Australian retailer with 38 stores and a focus on furniture and homewares designed for everyday living.
This position suits a designer who enjoys turning ideas into polished creative, working at speed, and contributing across a broad mix of projects. You will work alongside an experienced senior designer and collaborate with marketing, digital, and content teams to deliver assets across many customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Create visual assets for digital marketing campaigns and online channels.
- Develop social media content that is engaging and brand-aligned.
- Produce EDM creative and website graphics.
- Design signage and point-of-sale materials for stores.
- Prepare artwork files for print production.
- Ensure all creative work stays consistent with the brand identity.
- Work closely with the marketing, digital, and content teams on campaign delivery.
- Support multi-channel campaign rollouts from concept through execution.
- Take ownership of tasks, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
About You
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable handling several projects at once. You should enjoy finding creative solutions and be willing to get involved wherever needed.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in graphic design.
- A portfolio showing strong digital and print design capability.
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual communication.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments at the same time.
- A positive approach and readiness to take on varied challenges.
- Strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines.
Nice to Have
Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or Figma would be an advantage, though it is not essential.
