Project Overview
This remote freelance engagement is for a destination marketing organization that needs polished marketing and stakeholder documents created for a tourism-focused audience. The work centers on turning provided Word or HTML content into visually strong, brand-aligned layouts for a briefing document and a destination strategy report, each expected to be around 10 to 20 pages. The first item must be completed by mid-July 2026, and there may be follow-on assignments such as brochures, campaign materials, and stakeholder reports.
Key Deliverables
- Build a briefing document and a destination strategy report in Adobe InDesign using supplied Word or HTML source files.
- Apply the organization’s brand standards so the final layouts feel unified and on-brand.
- Combine text, icons, and data into clean, readable, and visually appealing page designs.
- Export and prepare files for both digital sharing and print production.
- Work remotely with stakeholders, review feedback, and refine the documents to final sign-off.
- Support possible future projects, including brochures, campaign assets, and stakeholder-facing reports.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience using Adobe InDesign for multi-page layout and production work.
- A strong portfolio showing report design, infographics, and presentation-style documents.
- Proven ability to work within brand systems and deliver professional, refined layouts.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop would be beneficial.
- Exposure to tourism, hospitality, or destination marketing work is an added advantage.
- High attention to detail, good time management, and clear communication skills.
