Role Overview
We are looking for a creative graphic illustrator to join a long-established family-run business in Plano, Texas. The company has more than 40 years of experience and works with leading organizations across the country to produce custom lapel pins and embroidered patches.
What You Will Do
The selected candidate will develop custom artwork based on client requests, including hand-drawn concepts and production-ready illustrations. This position calls for someone who can turn ideas into clear visual stories for commercial use and prepare artwork that is ready for manufacturing.
Experience and Education
Candidates should bring at least 5 years of overall experience in graphic illustration. A high school diploma or GED is required, while a college degree is preferred.
Technical Skills
Hands-on drawing ability is essential; this is not a role for someone who works only with clip art or purely digital methods. Strong experience with vector-based artwork and design tools such as CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator is required. Familiarity with contemporary art styles, including 2D art, 3D art, CGI, and AI-based creative tools, is also expected.
Working Style
The ideal professional is independent, proactive, and comfortable juggling several priorities at once while meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills, customer-focused behavior, and a solid work ethic are important. The environment is flexible and family-oriented, but the role requires working on-site every day; it is not available as a remote position.
