Job overview

The Handyman will support building upkeep and grounds maintenance across the production plant. The role covers practical day-to-day repair work, including basic carpentry, plumbing, and painting on wood, metal, and wall surfaces.

Key duties

• Carry out minor repairs on dollies.
• Organize and keep tools in order.
• Maintain ladders in good condition.
• Sharpen knives and scissors as needed.
• Clean insectocutors.
• Clear drains and grease traps.
• Inspect wells.
• Help with tyre replacement tasks.
• Wash trucks.
• Pressure-clean designated areas, including cafp/pad.
• Complete simple roof repairs, including flash band work.
• Replace doors and handle hinge removal and lock changes.
• Install and repair faucets and taps.
• Support Maintenance Technicians with assigned work.
• Perform basic masonry tasks.
• Use and care for workshop tools properly.
• Replace plucker fingers.
• Apply basic lubrication using a grease gun.
• Replace bathroom lights.
• Erect scaffolding.
• Keep the workshop clean and orderly.
