Housekeeper

The Role

Duart village in Havelock North is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to support its committed team.

Key Duties

• Support cleaning and laundry operations across the village.
• Keep residents’ shared areas and private living spaces clean.
• Work in line with established procedures to keep all areas hygienic, secure, and free from hazards.
• Take on a varied role with different day-to-day tasks.

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a cleaning role.
• Practical knowledge of chemical handling.
• Good communication abilities.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• A warm and respectful manner when dealing with residents.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work on a rostered shift schedule.
• Right to work in New Zealand.
