Overview
Equity LifeStyle Properties is seeking a Housekeeping team member in Ellenton, Florida. The role is focused on keeping resort spaces clean, organized, and welcoming so guests enjoy a high-quality stay.
What You’ll Do
- Clean the resort office, clubhouse, public areas, and model units as assigned, including tasks such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and taking out trash.
- Prepare cabins and rental accommodations for incoming guests.
- Keep rentals and shared spaces neat and maintained to resort standards.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and request replenishments when stock runs low.
- Flag maintenance issues in common areas, vacant homes, or rental units to the Resort Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Support maintenance personnel and other team members whenever help is needed.
- Help clean up after resort-sponsored events, activities, and functions.
- Respond to guest questions promptly and professionally, with patience and care.
- Help resolve guest concerns and conflicts in a positive, service-oriented way.
- Drive a motorized vehicle for errands or supply pickups when required.
- Coordinate closely with management to keep communication clear and the resort team aligned.
- Deliver strong customer service at all times.
Experience and Skills Needed
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Between 1 and 3 years of housekeeping experience.
- Working knowledge of cleaning agents and related products.
- Prior experience in housekeeping is an advantage.
- Good organization skills and careful attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and active auto insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
