Implementation Consultant

Overview

Octave is hiring an Implementation Consultant to support the setup, installation, configuration, and customization of technical solutions, applications, and process designs for client technology and business outcome solutions. The role is based in Doha, Qatar, with a hybrid work arrangement. The position is intended for an independent contributor who works closely with senior consultants on requirement discovery, application setup, testing, and user training.

What you will do

• Partner with clients to handle initial access, move and map data, prepare process documentation such as functional requirements, design notes, and lessons learned, and organize or deliver user training.
• Validate installed systems and investigate issues to ensure features operate as expected.
• Capture technical defects and route them to product and system integration teams for resolution.
• Share client feedback with product and professional services teams to help improve products and delivery processes.
• Support projects either on customer sites or remotely, depending on business needs.
• Sort out items that do not belong to support and direct them to the appropriate team.
• Help coach and train junior colleagues.
• Review incoming and ongoing support requests and prioritize them appropriately.
• Work in line with customer service-level goals and the terms of client support agreements.
• Liaise with software end users and reseller/configuration partners for requirements gathering, training, technical assistance, and feedback.
• At times, serve as the technical lead on implementations by giving direction and guidance to the team.
• Spot additional product or service opportunities within customer organizations that can be delivered.
• Be ready to travel to customer plant locations during project execution, including sites inside and outside Qatar.

Education and background

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or in a STEM-oriented technology discipline such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Technology, along with relevant industry experience.
