About the Role
Al-Qadsiah Club is building something larger than match results: a long-term sporting legacy with influence on and off the pitch. The club is focused on ambition, collaboration, and innovation, with a goal of inspiring future generations and contributing to Saudi Arabia’s sports vision.
As an Individual and Unit Coach, you will concentrate on improving the technical quality and individual behaviours of academy players across several age groups. The role is central to delivering tailored development plans that reflect the club’s game model and strengthen both player growth and team output.
Leadership and Management
- Work alongside the Head of Individual Development to execute the academy’s individual development framework.
- Help plan and roll out monthly training schedules for different age groups, ensuring each programme has clear developmental aims.
- Support the continuous refinement of the academy’s individual development methods.
Individual Coaching and Player Development
- Run focused one-to-one and small-group coaching sessions that build technical ability and positive behaviours.
- Create and deliver position-specific and unit-based sessions that match the Qadsiah Game Model.
- Support academy players from U13 to U21 throughout their individual improvement plans.
- Offer precise feedback during team training to accelerate personal progression.
Video Analysis and Performance Support
- Plan and deliver video analysis sessions for individual and small-group learning.
- Build and maintain a library of training material and best-practice content using club systems such as IterPro, Hudl, and SportsCode.
- Partner with the performance analysis team to strengthen the tools and resources available for player development.
Collaboration and Development Planning
- Contribute to individual development plans and player review meetings.
- Work with staff from different disciplines across the academy to support well-rounded player growth.
- Coordinate with coaching colleagues to keep individual goals aligned with team objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should hold an AFC A License or an equivalent UEFA coaching qualification. The role also values experience at elite academy level, the ability to coach across age groups, and a strong grasp of structured player development. A proactive, organised approach, clear communication, and comfort working in a new cultural and professional setting are important. Fluency in English is required.
Preferred credentials include an AFC Pro License or UEFA equivalent, along with FIFA Guardian safeguarding certification. Additional advantages include experience with tools like IterPro, Hudl, and SportsCode, multilingual ability such as Arabic or Spanish, experience as a professional footballer, prior work in the Middle East, and proven leadership and teamwork experience.
About the Work Environment
Al-Qadsiah promotes a culture built on quality, accountability, diversity, synergy, innovation, ambition, and harmony—referred to internally as the Qadsiah Way.
Application Note
The appointment process is being handled by a retained sport recruitment group on behalf of Al-Qadsiah SC. Any direct applications and CVs submitted for this opportunity will be passed on to them for review.
