Overview

Luxuria Homes is hiring an insulator for a full-time position in Calgary, Alberta. The job is based at the work site, and duties must be performed in person with no remote option.

Education

A secondary school graduation certificate is needed.

Experience

Previous experience is not mandatory; however, having related experience is considered an advantage.

Work location

This is an on-site position. The work has to be done at the physical location.

Work setting

• Employer covers relocation expenses.
• Applicants who are open to relocating are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine the appropriate insulation type for each task.
• Measure insulation materials and cut them to the required size and shape using hand tools and powered equipment.
• Install insulation by spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other approved methods.
• Place insulation neatly around obstructions and within joist and stud spaces.
• Build and install removable insulation pads and covers as needed.
• Prepare cost and material estimates for the work.
• Set up, take down, and handle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
