Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Interior Designer role is based in Doha, Qatar. The position centers on shaping interiors for office, technical, and collaborative environments that support a modern workplace and efficient AI operations. The designer will translate functional needs into well-planned, visually strong spaces while coordinating across disciplines to deliver buildable outcomes.

Key Work Areas

• Create interior concepts for workplace, technical, and shared spaces.
• Develop space plans that balance usability, comfort, and visual coherence.
• Prepare presentation materials to communicate design intent.
• Select finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with the project brief.
• Coordinate closely with architecture and engineering teams to ensure integration with building systems and codes.
• Produce detailed construction drawings for contractor use.
• Work with internal stakeholders and outside vendors so designs satisfy functional, safety, and brand requirements.
• Visit project sites, monitor work in progress, and recommend adjustments to protect quality, timeline, and budget.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have solid interior design and space planning capability, along with an understanding of architectural systems and how interior solutions fit within broader building frameworks. Practical experience preparing construction drawings is important, as is the ability to select and specify FF&E for performance-driven environments. Proficiency with design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools is expected, along with comfort using presentation software. A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required, together with proven intermediate-level project experience. Strong communication, teamwork, and vendor coordination skills are necessary. Experience on office, technology, or high-performance workplace projects in the Gulf region or comparable settings is considered an advantage.
