Role overview
We are seeking a driven analyst with 1 to 3 years of experience and a strong interest in investment banking. In this position, you will contribute to M&A and capital markets work through research, analysis, and foundational financial modelling.
What you will do
- Support M&A and capital markets assignments by gathering research, performing analysis, and building basic financial models.
- Help assess company valuations, track market developments, and carry out industry analysis for pitches and active deal work.
- Develop polished and accurate presentations, marketing materials, and documents for client discussions.
- Review companies, sectors, and transaction patterns to uncover relevant insights and opportunities.
- Partner with senior bankers and colleagues across products, industries, and regions.
Team environment
You will join the German Country Coverage team in Frankfurt, with a primary focus on M&A transactions. The team is expanding and has a strong history of completing mid-cap and large-cap deals successfully.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate has a solid academic background, prior exposure to investment banking or a closely related financial services role, and the confidence to work in a fast-moving, international setting. Strong analytical ability, clear communication, disciplined execution, and resilience under pressure are important for success in this role.
