Role overview
As a Janitorial Associate, you help create a strong first and last impression for customers by keeping the store clean, organized, and safe. Your work supports a welcoming shopping environment across areas such as the parking lot, restrooms, and receiving area.
Key duties
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and surrounding areas.
- Help ensure a safe, tidy environment for customers and associates.
- Care for high-traffic spaces including restrooms, the parking lot, and the receiving area.
Work schedule
This is a full-time onsite position. Available shifts include Mid-Shift and Closing.
Pay and compensation
The hourly wage ranges from $14 to $27. The pay for the role will meet or exceed the legal minimum wage for the job location. In addition to base pay, annual or quarterly performance incentives may be available. Depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific duties, premium pay of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may also apply, and multiple premiums can be earned when qualifying conditions are met.

Full-time and part-time associates may also have access to Walmart-paid education through Live Better U, which covers programs from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English language learning and short-form certificates, with tuition, books, and fees fully covered.
