Role overview

We are seeking an entry-level Junior Data Analyst for a full-time, on-site position in Australia. In this role, you will turn raw business data into practical insights that help guide decisions and improve performance. This opportunity is well suited to someone beginning a career in data analytics and business intelligence.

Core responsibilities

Gather data from different business systems, organize it properly, and carry out analysis.
Create reports, dashboards, and visual summaries that make information easier to act on.
Spot trends, patterns, and business opportunities by reviewing datasets closely.
Clean, validate, and quality-check data to keep reporting accurate and reliable.
Track KPIs and other business measures regularly.
Work with internal stakeholders to understand their reporting and analysis needs.
Explain findings and recommendations clearly and professionally.
Assist with process improvement initiatives and other data-led activities across the organization.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of analytics, statistics, and reporting. Strong Excel skills are important, and SQL knowledge is preferred. Experience with tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be considered an advantage. You should also bring strong analytical thinking, excellent attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work accurately with large datasets.

Preferred background

A degree, diploma, or relevant training in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, IT, or a related discipline is preferred.
