About Park Hyatt Doha
Park Hyatt Doha is seeking a diligent and dependable Kitchen Steward to become a valuable member of our Stewarding department. This role is crucial for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the kitchen, thereby fostering a secure and orderly workspace for our culinary professionals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and associated areas.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces are cleaned and sanitized according to established procedures.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
- Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies and inventory.
- Support the culinary team by ensuring a constant supply of clean dishes, cookware, and utensils.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar kitchen steward or cleaning role is preferred.
- Must be physically capable of performing demanding tasks in a busy kitchen setting.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, is essential.
- A foundational understanding of hygiene and safety protocols is beneficial.
- Demonstrate a positive demeanor and a strong capacity for teamwork.
