Kitchen Team Associate

Role Overview

This position is for a Kitchen Team Associate in Statesboro, Georgia. The role is centered on preparing food, supporting guests, and keeping the restaurant environment clean, safe, and welcoming. Team members are expected to work well with others, learn quickly, and adapt to different stations as needed. Prior experience is not required because training will be provided.

What You’ll Do

• Create a positive guest experience by greeting customers, serving food, and processing payments at the register.
• Keep the restaurant, work areas, and overall presentation clean and orderly.
• Follow operational procedures and food safety practices to deliver fresh, high-quality food.
• Work efficiently in a busy kitchen and may rotate between the front counter, drive-through, and kitchen stations.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily targets in a friendly and upbeat setting.

• A pleasant, helpful attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Operations background is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Some high school education is preferred.
• A food handler certificate may be needed depending on local rules, and any associated cost must be covered by the candidate.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The job involves standing for long periods, working around steam, heat, food vapors, and high noise levels, and handling equipment such as a Chinese kitchen knife and other restaurant tools. The workspace can be tight, storage is limited, and shelving may be high. Employees must be able to prepare both hot and cold foods, work quickly without sacrificing accuracy, lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across 36-inch countertops. The role also requires clear verbal communication, flexibility in a changing environment, and the ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations professionally.
