Role overview
Lamb Weston is seeking a Manager, Procurement with a focus on Corporate Services in Eagle, Idaho. This position will oversee strategic sourcing and category management for roughly $80 million in corporate services spending, spanning areas such as marketing, knowledge and insights, benefits, and IT services.
The role plays an important part in aligning procurement activities with internal stakeholders and leadership to support Lamb Weston’s business needs. You will create and carry out sourcing strategies, conduct market analysis and research, evaluate business proposals, shape negotiation plans, and lead contract discussions. The position also calls for someone who can strengthen procurement capabilities, improve processes, and act as a positive change leader across the company.

Key duties
- Take full ownership of assigned categories and a spend portfolio of about $80 million, identifying opportunities, risks, and value-creation initiatives proactively.
- Manage the complete contract lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiation, execution, and renewals, while balancing commercial, legal, and service needs.
- Build and apply negotiation approaches that produce cost savings, added value, and reduced supplier risk.
- Make independent decisions and balance competing priorities while staying aligned with enterprise procurement direction.
- Track supplier performance using KPIs, regular business reviews, and continuous improvement plans.
- Own category financial outcomes, including budget management, savings delivery, and cost avoidance.
- Work with executives and internal partners to strengthen procurement strategy and execution.
- Help position Procurement as a trusted, customer-focused business partner across Lamb Weston.
- Partner with Legal to support efficient and effective contract negotiations.
- Support annual planning by contributing to procurement performance and inflation-related targets.
Qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree, with a master’s degree in a business-related field preferred. A minimum of 5 years of procurement experience is required, specifically with direct exposure to corporate services categories. Strong leadership in category management, change execution, and sustainable performance improvement is important.
Applicants should bring experience in procurement transformation and continuous improvement, along with familiarity with SAP ERP systems and related tools such as SAP Ariba and SAP Concur. The role also requires confidence in negotiating, managing, and enforcing procurement agreements.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, strong collaboration abilities across functions and regions, comfort working in uncertain or high-pressure situations, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience in food manufacturing is considered a plus.

Compensation
The annual pay range estimated for this position is $117,060 to $175,600. Actual pay may fall outside this range based on duties, experience, expertise, and work location. Compensation details reflect applicable state and local pay transparency requirements.
