Role Summary

The MWR Specialist handles the daily operations of one or more recreation and support functions, which may include housekeeping/custodial services, community activities centers, linen exchange, fitness center support, lounge operations, and media center activities. The job covers customer support, media assistance, linen handling, cleaning, fitness front-desk duties, event planning and execution, basic facility and equipment upkeep, games, and other related tasks defined in the Performance Work Statement. The specialist reports to the assigned department manager.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out the daily duties needed to support installation services, including beverage service where applicable, guest assistance, light maintenance, cleaning, stock handling, front-desk support, equipment help, event setup and teardown, and linen exchange tasks.
  • Deliver strong customer service across recreational services, fitness areas, lounge operations, linen exchange, and custodial/housekeeping functions.
  • Interact politely with customers and be able to identify and communicate all items clearly in English.
  • Keep all assigned areas safe, orderly, sanitary, professional, and free from dust, clutter, and waste.
  • Complete all required Vectrus and government training courses on time.
  • Use and protect government- and contractor-issued property responsibly, including facilities, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow company time-reporting procedures accurately and submit timesheets correctly.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned.

Working Environment

Work is mainly indoors, though some outdoor support may be needed for events. The role may involve exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and chemicals. Qualifications

Experience
