Role overview

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking an NDT Inspector to join its Singapore component repair operation. The role is based onsite at Seletar Aerospace View in Singapore and supports aircraft engine component inspection work within a high-precision aerospace environment.

RTX, through businesses such as Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon, develops advanced aviation, defense, and technology solutions. This position contributes to the inspection and quality assurance of aircraft engine components and supports safety, improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Carry out checks on nondestructive testing processes and verify that systems are functioning as required.
Prepare aircraft engine component parts before NDT examination.
Perform nondestructive testing on engine component parts.
Inspect components against the relevant technical specifications and confirm compliance.
Participate in EH&S initiatives and take personal responsibility for maintaining safety standards.
Support continuous improvement efforts, CORE activities, and other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

A diploma in engineering or a closely related field is required.
At least 2 years of relevant NDT experience is needed.
Candidates must hold PCN, NAS410, or EN4179 Level 2 certification in RT (Radiography).
Basic spoken and written English skills are necessary.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and standard operating procedures is important.
The role calls for a detailed, careful, and practical work style.
Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts, including overtime when required, is essential.
Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering would be an advantage.
External training and additional NDT certifications are considered a plus.

This is a full-time onsite role in Singapore. The position is based at SG-01-SINGAPORE-061, 61 Seletar Aerospace View, Seletar Bldg 61, Pratt & Whitney Singapore Component Repair.
