About the company

You will be joining the finance team of a long-established and expanding Irish retail pharmacy group operating across multiple locations. This permanent full-time position sits within a busy finance function and reports to the Financial Director.

Role overview

The successful hire will support payroll activity, month-end work, reconciliations, reporting, and day-to-day finance administration across the group.

Key duties

  • Handle payroll each month from start to finish.
  • Enter sales data and prepare related reports.
  • Reconcile cash accounts and investigate differences.
  • Carry out bookkeeping tasks.
  • Post bank transactions and complete bank reconciliations.
  • Support month-end close activities and reporting.
  • Assist with preparing weekly and monthly management accounts.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Financial Director when needed.
