Planner

Role Overview

Valence Surface Technologies is hiring a Planner in Eastman, Georgia. This position focuses on translating customer and engineering requirements into clear manufacturing instructions, supporting production planning, and ensuring documentation and process flow meet compliance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Study customer specifications and confirm that all processing requirements can be met in line with company compliance standards.
• Check customer purchase orders to verify that the requested work can be executed within the required process parameters.
• Prepare detailed, step-by-step work instructions for manufacturing complex machined parts and assembling aircraft components.
• Identify where extra sketches, references, or supporting aids are needed.
• Review engineering drawings and models to spot any configuration changes.
• Work within the MRP system to maintain data, create work orders, and generate related records and documents.
• Produce work order and certification paperwork that carries the full process flow and provides objective proof of specification compliance.
• Interpret purchase orders and blueprints so requirements are properly carried through each process step.
• Plan and sequence production work for each department based on established manufacturing order and lead-time expectations.
• Support internal teams and outside vendors with technical guidance as needed.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience reading blueprints and technical specifications.
• At least 2 years of computer experience, including Microsoft Office.
• At least 2 years of data entry experience.

Education Requirement

• High school diploma or equivalent, or higher.
