Prison Support - HMP Erlestoke

Role overview

HMP Erlestoke is hiring an Operational Support Grade (OSG) to help with the smooth and safe day-to-day running of the prison. This is an active, varied position that mixes desk-based tasks with practical work across the site.

The starting salary is £30,491.

You will be part of a supportive team carrying out a wide range of duties, including security checks and searches at the gate, handling deliveries, overseeing visitors, and keeping an eye on phone calls and CCTV. The job also involves physical activity such as lifting, carrying, and walking to escort vehicles around the prison grounds.
