Role overview

This contract role is centered on private equity research work, with an emphasis on producing decision-ready analysis that supports investment evaluation, market understanding, and deal assessment.

The position is remote and requires a commitment of more than 10 hours each week. Compensation is set at $130 per hour.

Key responsibilities

Create and improve financial models that inform investment decisions.
Prepare concise investment memos and structured analytical write-ups.
Carry out market sizing exercises and assess total addressable market potential.
Review deal-related documents such as CIMs and due diligence materials.
Assist with deal sourcing by researching and screening potential opportunities.

Core requirements

Solid understanding of private equity transaction processes and investment analysis.
Proven ability to build financial models and organize complex analysis effectively.
Hands-on experience working with transaction documents and diligence materials.
Ability to turn detailed analysis into clear, well-written insights.
Reliable performance in independent, project-based work settings.

Additional strengths

Experience with legal documents or NDA-related materials in transaction environments is an advantage.
