Role overview
We are looking for a Product Manager to shape, build, and improve digital healthcare solutions that strengthen patient engagement, support value-based care programs, and help improve outcomes. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, engineering, analytics, and business teams to create products that elevate the patient experience, improve care quality, and produce measurable results across healthcare populations.
The right person will bring strong healthcare product expertise, along with a solid grasp of value-based care, population health management, and patient engagement approaches.
What you'll do
- Take ownership of the product roadmap for patient engagement and value-based care efforts.
- Work with clinical, operations, analytics, and engineering partners to shape product direction and decide what to build first.
- Use patient, provider, and population health data to uncover opportunities to improve engagement, quality measures, and care outcomes.
- Create product requirements, user stories, success measures, and business cases for new features and capabilities.
- Guide products through the full lifecycle, from discovery and idea shaping to launch and ongoing refinement.
- Review user behavior, healthcare market movements, and industry trends to support product decisions.
- Track performance against KPIs and make continuous improvements using data and stakeholder input.
- Make sure solutions meet regulatory expectations, healthcare compliance standards, and business goals.
- Contribute to initiatives around preventive care, care gap closure, patient outreach, care management, and quality improvement.
- Team up with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable digital experiences for patients, providers, and care teams.
Required experience and qualifications
- At least 8 years of product management experience.
- Hands-on experience in the healthcare sector is required.
- Background in value-based care, population health, accountable care organizations (ACOs), care management programs, or payer-provider initiatives.
- Experience creating digital products for patients, providers, or care teams.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows and patient engagement tactics.
- Experience building roadmaps, managing backlogs, and turning business needs into product requirements.
- Strong analytical ability and a data-led approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Experience working in Agile product development settings.
Preferred background
- Exposure to Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, quality metrics, risk adjustment, or population health programs.
- Experience with products centered on patient engagement, preventive care, outreach, care gap closure, or member experience.
- Understanding of value-based reimbursement models and healthcare performance measurement.
- Experience collaborating with clinical, data science, analytics, or care management teams to drive measurable health outcomes.
