Production Planner

Role Overview

TQC Precision Engineering Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Production Planner in Singapore. The role focuses on keeping production aligned with customer demand, material availability, and operational capacity while supporting smooth coordination across internal teams.

Production Planning and Scheduling

• Create and continuously update production timelines using customer orders, demand forecasts, and current stock positions.
• Organize production plans on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Revise schedules promptly when delays, changing demand, or supply issues affect the plan.

Inventory and Material Planning

• Track raw material availability and work closely with procurement to prevent shortages.
• Maintain stock at healthy levels so materials do not run too low or build up unnecessarily.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to monitor and manage material movement.

Coordination and Communication

• Partner with production, procurement, logistics, and quality functions to keep plans on track.
• Share updates on priorities and plan changes with the right stakeholders.
• Work with sales or customer service teams to align on delivery commitments and timelines.

Capacity Planning

• Assess available production capacity and identify bottlenecks or limitations.
• Improve machine loading and workforce deployment for better utilization.
• Suggest practical ways to raise overall efficiency.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a similar discipline is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain support.
• Working knowledge of MES or ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or comparable systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI will be considered an advantage.
• High attention to detail along with solid analytical ability.
• Self-driven, well-organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
